Customer Service
UTSA works to improve the service side of the industry by providing your company with information on personnel, new technology, and resources in this area. We address issues such as customer retention and route sales motivation.

Educational Institutes
Coordinate curriculum and registration for the Association’s Executive Management Institute (EMI), Customer Service Institute (CSI), and joint UTSA/TRSA Maintenance Management Institute (MMI), and Production Management Institute (PMI).

Environmental Affairs
UTSA is at the forefront of the industry’s efforts in protecting the environment. Staff communicates regularly with federal and state regulators on the formulation of rules and regulations, as well as provides review, analysis, and consultation to members.

Finance and Administration
Among this department’s functions are finance, the Operating Ratios Report, and the administration of the Association’s affinity programs.

Government and Public Affairs
Work with Congress, government agencies, and other trade organizations to encourage policies, laws, and regulations that foster a positive business climate for the industry. Through the GrassRoots Network, we help you achieve maximum impact, even in your state legislatures. UTSA staff develops and maintains industry statistics and prepares position papers on important issues.

IL Magazine/Newsletter
UTSA’s award-winning magazine, Industrial Launderer, will keep you abreast of new technology, production practices, compliance issues, marketing techniques, and more. Our weekly Scoop for members shares the very latest in industry news by fax or email.

Independent Operators
The Independent Operators Committee is a free, special service to non-chain members providing them with special programming and a forum for peer interaction.

Information Technology
This committee identifies and evaluates industry-specific information technology trends that will assist companies in the growth of sales, profits, and public recognition.

Marketing
Through meetings that offer learning through peer interaction, presentations by industry and outside speakers, publications, seminars, and specialized research, UTSA offers substantive ongoing analysis of the market. Our books and manuals target those areas of the industry and the economy where more knowledge will make market penetration and operations smoother for you.

Meetings/Conventions
This department plans UTSA’s numerous meetings and programs that the association has developed to give you a competitive edge.

Membership
Laundry membership in UTSA is on a company basis; dues are based on the industrial laundry revenues of the company. Suppliers to the industry become affiliated with UTSA with at least a six-time advertisement annual contract for Industrial Launderer magazine, paying no dues.

Plant Operations
UTSA provides the most up-to-date programs, including publications, manuals, and on-line learning to help you operate your facilities more efficiently and effectively. From new products and technologies to the application of government rules and regulations to the daily workings of your plant, UTSA offers practical advice and expertise on maintaining, upgrading, re-engineering and operating your plant.
