In order to help third parties understand how the information they submit will be evaluated, EPA has proposed new criteria for assessing the quality of data submitted by outside organizations, such as trade associations, companies, laboratories, etc. Under EPA's proposal, third-party information would be assessed on soundness, applicability and utility, clarity and completeness, uncertainty and variability, and evaluation and review.
